Plain English, because you should know exactly what you are buying before you pay for it.
What you are buying
One $4.99 purchase buys exactly one recording attempt for the personalized lyrics you approved, delivered as an MP3 of about 45 seconds that you save right there in your browser if that attempt succeeds. A failed or undelivered attempt does not authorize another recording.
The price is shown on screen before you pay. It is a one time charge. There is no subscription, no membership, and nothing that renews or bills you again later.
Refunds
If the recording fails, is invalid, or cannot be confirmed as delivered, we will not start another recording. Email support@mykidsongs.com with the Checkout reference shown on the MyKidSongs website. A human will issue a full manual refund through Stripe. Never send us the child's details or lyrics.
If you are unhappy with your song for any reason, ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Use the same support address and Checkout reference. You do not have to explain why, and there is no returns form to fill in.
When a recording succeeds, it is delivered in the browser and made for your child alone, so there is nothing to send back to us and no way for us to un-deliver it. That is exactly why we just refund under the policies above manually through Stripe instead of running a returns process.
The song is yours
Once a recording is delivered, it belongs to you and your family. Play it, save it, put it on the car speakers, or send the saved MP3 to family yourself. You do not need our permission and you do not owe us a credit.
It is made by AI, and we will not pretend otherwise
The lyrics are written by AI and the singing is generated by AI. There is no band and no child in a studio. It is a personalized recording, made in about a minute, and the quality varies. Some recordings come out lovely and some come out a bit odd. If yours comes out odd, that is what the refund is for.
Reasonable use
- Make songs about your own family, or about children whose family is happy for you to do it. Do not make a song about someone without their family's consent.
- Do not resell the service, or run it as a storefront of your own. Buying songs for the people in your life is the point. Setting up shop with them is not.
- Do not use the service to make content that is hateful, sexual, harassing, or otherwise harmful to a child.
The legal minimum
MyKidSongs is provided as is. We do our best, but we cannot promise the service will always be available or that every recording will please you. To the extent the law allows, MyKidSongs LLC's total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us, which for a single song is a few dollars. Nothing here takes away rights your local consumer law gives you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA.
Privacy
We do not save your child's details or song on our server. If you begin checkout, your browser temporarily saves the details, lyrics, song settings, price, and a purchase reference so you do not lose your purchase. The copy can recover your purchase for up to 24 hours. The MyKidSongs website normally removes it after delivery, when you start a new song, or when you return after that time. In unusual cases, such as an incorrect date or time on the device, the copy may remain longer. If your browser blocks removal, the website tells you how to clear it.
